Issues relating to the missing framework<\/h2>\n

If you haven’t installed the .NET Framework 2 on Windows some installers and programs will fail with errors such as the below.<\/p>\n

I had this issue while trying to install Windows 7 USB\/DVD Download tool.<\/p>\n

Installing .NET Framework 2<\/h2>\n

Installing the .NET Framework 2 on Windows 10 actually is very simple and can be achieved with the Windows Features pane. This can be opened by typing “Windows features” in your search pane.<\/p>\n

By selecting “.NET Framework 3.5 (includes .NET 2.0 and 3.0)” and selecting ok it will download and install the appropriate framework.<\/p>\n

Once it has downloaded I was able to install the Windows 7 USB\/DVD Download tool and run it properly. This should not\u00a0require any restarts. If you do not have internet on your computer you will need to install this feature from a Windows 10 install DVD.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
